TI-Nspire™ CAS Teacher Software has been developed as support for educators in their teaching activities. The utility will perform tasks that are specific to TI-Nspire handheld calculators.
There is a large content database, which approaches subjects such as mathematics and science (e.g., biology, chemistry, forensics, physics, statistics). The content section is made up of presentations that include items such as problems to be solved, process animations, graphs or videos. Aside from the predefined lessons, which can not only be used as they come, but can also be edited, educators can design their own documents. They can insert a calculator (appropriate for various tasks, from number conversions to working with matrices, polynomials, limits, probabilities or functions), work with graphs (from drawing to analyzing them), geometric figures, spreadsheets or interactive question forms. There is quite a large number of options for creating presentations that are interactive and that can help students actually visualize science related processes and make better connections between theory and practice.
